There are many different ways and variations to wrap short and long handwraps. As you use them more often, you will develop your own preference, and one person may wrap more around the wrists, while another may wrap more around the knuckles of the fists.

Hayabusa (pronounced Ha-Ja-Boe-Sa) is the Japanese word for peregrine falcon, the fastest animal on earth (a bird of prey recorded at over 500 km per hour in a dive). Hayabusa has its headquarters in Ontario (Canada) and the global distribution center in the heart of Las Vegas (United States). Not coincidentally, this is also where the biggest boxing matches and UFC events take place. Hayabusa also has two exclusive contracts with independent sports centers in Canada, where all Hayabusa products are thoroughly tested.

Hayabusa aims to offer the best materials in terms of comfort, fit, anatomy, and even more importantly: performance and safety! A martial artist is constantly improving and developing themselves. All types of Hayabusa handwraps are lightly elastic and stretchable for a smooth and comfortable wrapping experience. You can put them on easily without worrying about cutting off circulation to your hands. 

Both the Perfect Stretch handwraps from Hayabusa and the Deluxe version have a slight amount of stretch in the material.

The handwraps from Hayabusa are of exceptionally good quality at a very reasonable price. The quality control is well managed with these handwraps, resulting in few to no defects. 

The material is finished very neatly, especially in the Deluxe version. This also features a very classy rubber label as a closure.

Both the perfect stretch and the Deluxe handwraps from Hayabusa are also very comfortable and easy to apply. These are enough reasons why it is a real bestseller when it comes to handwraps for boxing, cardio boksen, or Thai boxing.

The differences are mainly branding and design. Hayabusa has two types of handwraps: the perfect stretch and the Deluxe. The new Mayweather line also has two types: Mayweather stretch and Deluxe. 

These two models are therefore largely similar, only the Mayweather are part of the luxury signature collection. 

The best way to wash your Hayabusa handwraps is by placing them in a laundry bag and washing them in the washing machine at a low temperature (30°C or lower). Hand washing is actually even better.

It is important to fasten the Velcro on the wraps before washing to prevent them from sticking together. After washing, let the handwraps air dry naturally. Do not put them in the dryer, as this can cause them to shrink and wrinkle unnecessarily.

• Partially roll up the handwraps and place them in a laundry bag or bra net. 
• Wash the handwraps in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C or by hand washing.
• Let the handwraps air dry, preferably hanging for a long time.
• Do not put the handwraps in the dryer. 

Extra tips:

• Wash the handwraps regularly (after every training) to keep them hygienically clean and fresh.
• You can optionally use a mild detergent, but rinse the handwraps well to avoid soap residue.
• Let the handwraps dry completely after washing before using them again.
