D3O hardens on impact and absorbs the force of every punch - while remaining flexible during normal movement. This gives the knuckles maximum protection without disrupting the natural fist position.

The knuckle guard is slipped over the handwraps before you wrap your hands - no help from a coach required. The flexible neoprene conforms to the hand and provides a close fit that allows for a natural fist. The Rival Intelli-Shock knuckle wraps provide a thick layer of D3O shock-absorbing foam directly over the knuckles. D3O is an advanced material that hardens upon impact and distributes the force of a punch—significantly reducing pressure on the knuckles without compromising comfort.
The flexible neoprene cover molds to the hand and allows for a natural fist. Simply slide the wraps over your handwraps before wrapping them around your hands—combining the protection of handwraps with the additional knuckle protection of the Intelli-Shock in one movement.

Knuckle protectors are designed to be used with handwraps. Depending on the product, you either thread the handwrap through the knuckle guard before wrapping your hand, or slide the protector over your hand and then wrap the handwraps over it.
