The XPRT handwraps for boxing are available in the two most commonly used standard length sizes: 2.5 meters (100") and 4.5 meters (180").

Boxing wraps of 2.5 meters are ideal for children and women with smaller hands. A boxing wrap of 4.5 meters is recommended for adults and for older youth. Of course, adult men and women can also choose to use shorter handwraps.

Care, washing & storage
  • Partially roll up the handwraps.
  • Fasten the Velcro together.
  • Use a laundry bag.
  • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Machine wash cold, at a maximum of 30°C; hand washing is preferred.
  • Air-dry the handwraps, preferably hanging them fully extended.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer.

Additional tips:

  • Wash the handwraps regularly (after every training session) to keep them hygienic.
  • You can use a mild detergent if desired, but rinse the handwraps thoroughly to prevent soap residue.
  • Let the handwraps dry completely after washing before using them again.

Specific features

  • + 250 cm or 450 cm in length

Available in 250 cm or 450 cm - choose the length that suits your hand size and wrapping preference.

  • + Lightly stretchy

The slightly stretchy material of these handwraps adapts to the shape of your hand and wrist as you wrap. This creates even pressure without tight spots—the handwrap follows the contours of your hand instead of working against them.

The slight stretch provides just enough flexibility to move comfortably during training, while the wrap remains firm enough to effectively support and protect your wrist and knuckles.

  • + Thumb loop + hook-and-loop closure

The thumb loop ensures a correct and consistent start to the wrap during every training session. The hook-and-loop closure at the end keeps the handwrap firmly in place—quick to put on, quick to take off, always securely fastened.

  • + Washable

This product is washable and therefore easy to clean after use. Boxing gear absorbs sweat and can quickly start to smell— a washable product keeps your equipment fresh and hygienic without having to replace it.

Always check the care instructions on the label before washing the product. Also see our care advice section on this page for the best tips to keep your gear in top condition for as long as possible.

For the early mornings, the final repetitions, and the relentless will to win. When you give it your all, our gear gives you the support you need. ‘Discipline beats motivation, every time and again.’

Knuckle guards as an addition to handwraps

If your knuckles hurt despite wearing good boxing gloves and handwraps, you can also use a knuckle guard .

These are an addition to your regular handwraps. Knuckle guards are ideal if you punch hard or experience knuckle pain.

Most knuckle guards are made of fabric with foam or gel padding that provides extra absorption of the impact from your punches.

Frequently Asked Questions — Handwraps XPRT Easy Stretch Nations

What is the background of the XPRT brand?

The story of XPRT Fight Gear begins in 2005. An enthusiastic martial artist and entrepreneur has been dreaming for years of a shop full of the finest fighting gear, available and accessible to everyone.

Through personal experiences in the form of training camps, seminars, competitions, and research, he gained a clear vision of how to offer martial arts, combat sports, and martial arts equipment to a broader audience in the new millennium.

With extensive experience in Thai boxing, boxing, karate, and especially ITF Taekwon-do, Fight2Win takes its first steps toward a complete product range. Initially, this consisted exclusively of ITF Taekwon-do uniforms and safety equipment under the Taekwon-do.nl brand and website.

Then came the slogan: Fight2WinAnd eventually, with the help of other martial artists and graphic designers, a logo and name emerged for a groundbreaking and affordable martial arts brand: XPRT Fight Gear!

What is polycotton?

Polycotton is a fabric made from a blend of cotton and polyester fibers. The ratio of fibers can vary, but 80% polyester and 20% cotton are often used for handwraps. For our karate and taekwon-do uniforms, the ratio is usually 65% polyester and 35% cotton.

Polycotton combines the benefits of both materials: the breathability of cotton and the durability and quick-drying properties of polyester.

Why is polycotton used?

  • More durable: polyester makes the fabric stronger and more resistant to wear than pure cotton.
  • Wrinkle-resistant: polycotton is much less prone to wrinkling than 100% cotton. This is especially useful for martial arts uniforms, as they require less ironing.
  • Quick-drying: polyester fibers dry faster than cotton, which is useful for sportswear and sports equipment.
  • Economical: polycotton is cheaper than 100% cotton.
  • Versatile: polycotton is suitable for various applications, such as clothing and handwraps.
  • More elastic: handwraps are more comfortable with a little stretch. 100% cotton has no stretch at all.

What is the background of the XPRT brand?

Are these handwraps stretchy?

Yes.

Almost all the handwraps in our range are (slightly) stretchy. This is necessary to wrap the handwraps properly around your hands.

We have several non-stretch handwraps in our range. They are really only suitable for highly experienced (kick)boxers or are applied by a specialist.

100% cotton handwraps generally have virtually no stretch, which is why almost all “regular” handwraps are a polyester-cotton, nylon-cotton, or polyviscose blend.

What is the best way to wash boxing handwraps?

You can best wash handwraps by placing them in a laundry bag or bra bag and washing them in the washing machine at 30°C or lower. Hand-washing is actually even better.

It is important to fasten the hook-and-loop closure before washing to prevent it from catching on other clothes or the handwraps themselves. After washing, let the handwraps air-dry naturally. Do not put them in the dryer, as they may shrink and crease unnecessarily.

  • Partially roll up the handwraps and place them in a laundry bag or bra bag.
  • Wash the handwraps in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C or hand-wash them.
  • Let the handwraps air-dry, preferably hung up at full length.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer.

Extra tips:

  • Wash the handwraps regularly (after every training session) to keep them hygienically clean and fresh.
  • You can use a mild detergent if desired, but rinse the handwraps thoroughly to prevent soap residue.
  • Let the handwraps dry completely after washing before using them again.

Why do you use handwraps?

When boxing and kickboxing, training on the punching bag or with kicking and punching shields, your hands and wrists endure a lot.

Inner gloves and handwraps provide extra protection for your hands, knuckles, and wrists.

As an added benefit, they help extend the lifespan of your boxing gloves by absorbing sweat.

You can find much more information about this in the handwraps collection.
