Shin guards XPRT Competitor Camo V2 grey (sock model)

You pull these on like a sock. They have no straps, but because the shin guard is made of an elastic material, it stays perfectly in place on your shins. There is thick padding on the front of your shin and over the instep for protection.

These are ideal for children because you can easily pull the shin guards on them. Adult fighters can also wear these shin guards. For people who practice kickboxing and Muay Thai and want to kick extra hard, these sock-model shin guards can serve as an additional shin guard.

Frequently Asked Questions — Shin guards XPRT Competitor Camo V2 grey (sock model)

Can I also use a disinfectant spray for other products, such as shin guards?

Yes.

Although the sprays are specially developed for boxing gloves, you can also use them for other (sports) items.

You can use it for shin guards, for example, but it also works great for smelly sneakers and sports shoes.

What is the background of the brand XPRT?

The story of XPRT Fight Gear begins in 2005. Enthusiastic martial artist and entrepreneur has dreamed for years of a shop full of the finest fighting gear, accessible and affordable for everyone.

With personal experiences through training internships, seminars, competitions, and research, he has gained a clear vision of how to offer martial arts, fighting sports, and fighting gear to a broader audience in the new millennium.

With extensive experience in Thai boxing, boxing, karate, and especially ITF Taekwon-do, Fight2Win takes the first steps toward a complete product range. Initially, exclusively with ITF Taekwon-do uniforms, safety equipment under the brand and website Taekwon-do.nl.

Then follows the slogan: Fight2Win. And finally, with the help of other martial artists and graphic designers, a logo and a name emerge for a groundbreaking and affordable martial arts brand: XPRT Fight Gear!

How should a shin guard (for kickboxing) fit?

In the best case, a shin guard extends exactly to just below your knee

However, we find it at least equally important that the shin guard is not too loose around your legs. So even if it doesn’t quite reach the knee but fits well otherwise, we think that is more important (read: better) than choosing a size larger.

too large shin guard is actually a hindrance and will also tend to slide, which is very annoying during training.

The instep part should at least cover the top of your instep, but with some brands it extends over the entire foot. That’s not necessary. So if your toes stick out - as is the case with the Twins SGL7, for example - that is perfectly fine. After all, you shouldn’t be kicking with your toes.

A shin guard for kickboxing should fit well on your shin, from just below the knee to above the ankle, and should not be too loose or too tight. It should fully cover your shin for optimal protection but must not restrict your movements.

For every shin guard, we have created a unique size chart for that brand and model. Be sure to consult it and when in doubt, choose a smaller size rather than a larger one.

What size XPRT shin guard do I need for children?

We have added a size chart to each product that you should consult. For the XPRT shin guards, the size chart below serves as a guideline.
