What size kickboxing shin guards should I choose?

What size kickboxing shin guards should I choose?

Choosing the right size of shin guards can be quite difficult. You do not buy shin guards very often, and their sizes also regularly vary by martial arts brand.

No problem! We will explain how to make sure you choose the right size of shin guards next time.

Choosing the right size of shin guards

There are 2 different ways to choose the right size of shin guards.

Either use your height as a reference or actually measure the length of your shin.

Using this information, you can then see exactly which shin guard size corresponds to the product on our shin guard product page (size chart).

Shin guard size based on height

If you determine the size of your shin guards based on your height, a size chart will look approximately like this:

Up to 150 cm S
150 to 175 cm M
175 to 185 cm L
More than 185 cm XL

Shin guard size based on shin length

If you determine the size of your shin guards based on the length of your shin, a size chart will look approximately like this:

33 cm M
36 cm L
40 cm XL

How do I measure my shin?

Measure from the bottom of your knee to the top of your ankle. Does the length not exactly match a value in the size chart? Then choose the nearest shorter length.

The size charts above are intended as examples. Shin guard sizes vary between martial arts brands.

Therefore, always check the product page (size chart) for the shin guards to make sure you are using the correct size chart.
