Shin guards XPRT Competitor V1 green (sock model)

These Shin guards XPRT Competitor V1 green are worn like a sock. This sock-style shin guard from XPRT has no straps, but because the shin guard is made of a stretchy material, it stays perfectly in place on your shins. On the front of your shin and at the instep, there is thick padding for protection.

This shin sock is ideal for children because you can easily put the shin guards on them. Adult fighters can also wear these shin guards. For people who practice kickboxing and Muay Thai and want to kick extra hard, these sock-style shin guards can serve as additional shin protection.

Tips for XPRT Sock-Style Shin Guards

The XPRT sock-style shin guards are available in sizes XXS to L - choose your size based on your shoe size and shin circumference. The elastic material stretches, but a size that is too large will still slip during training.

The sock-style design has no hook-and-loop fastening - the fit is determined entirely by the elastic poly-cotton. Pull the sock tight so that the padding sits precisely on your shin and instep before you start training.

Wash the sock-style shin guards regularly at 30°C in the washing machine. Then let them air-dry - do not put them in the dryer, as this will damage the elastic.

The sock-style design is not suitable for hard sparring for adults. For intensive training or contact sparring, we recommend the hard XPRT shin guards.

Frequently Asked Questions — Shin guards XPRT Competitor V1 green (sock model)

Can I also use a disinfectant spray on other products, such as shin guards?

Yes.

Although the sprays were specially developed for boxing gloves, you can also use them for other (sports) equipment.

You can use it for, for example, shin guards, but it also works fantastically for smelly sneakers and sports shoes.

What is the background of the XPRT brand?

The story of XPRT Fight Gear begins in 2005. An enthusiastic martial artist and entrepreneur has been dreaming for years of a shop full of the finest fighting gear, available and accessible to everyone.

Through personal experiences in the form of training camps, seminars, competitions, and research, he gained a clear vision of how to offer martial arts, combat sports, and martial arts equipment to a broader audience in the new millennium.

With extensive experience in Thai boxing, boxing, karate, and especially ITF Taekwon-do, Fight2Win takes its first steps toward a complete product range. Initially, this consisted exclusively of ITF Taekwon-do uniforms and safety equipment under the Taekwon-do.nl brand and website.

Then came the slogan: Fight2WinAnd eventually, with the help of other martial artists and graphic designers, a logo and name emerged for a groundbreaking and affordable martial arts brand: XPRT Fight Gear!

How should a shin guard (for kickboxing) fit?

Ideally, a shin guard should extend exactly to just below your knee However, we consider it at least equally important that the shin guard does not fit too loosely around your legs. So even if it does not reach all the way to the knee, if it fits well otherwise, we consider that

more important (read: better) than choosing a larger size. A

too large shin guard is an obstruction and will also start to slide more easily, which is very annoying during training. The foot section should at least cover the top of your instep, but some brands extend it over the entire foot. That is not necessary. So if your

toes stick out —as is the case with the Twins SGL7, for example—that is perfectly fine . After all, you should not kick with your toes either.A kickboxing shin guard should fit snugly around your shin, from just below the knee to above the ankle, and should not be too loose or too tight. It should fully cover your shin for optimal protection without restricting your movement.

For every shin guard, we have created a

unique size chart for that brand and model. Be sure to consult it, and when in doubt, choose a smaller size rather than a larger one. gemaakt voor dat merk en model. Raadpleeg deze vooral en neem bij twijfel eerder een kleinere dan een grotere maat.

What size XPRT children's shin guard do I need?

We have added a size chart to each product, which we recommend consulting. For the XPRT shin guards, use the size chart below as a guideline.
