Take a few trial boxing lessons in Amsterdam.
The right gym for you is different from the right gym for someone else, so we always advise you to take one or more trial lessons at several different places. One person might feel more comfortable at club A, while another might prefer club B. Almost all good boxing clubs offer the possibility of one or more trial lessons before you become a member.
Gym, sports hall or your own location
Some boxing clubs are located in large sports centers, others in a gym, and some clubs have their own location including a professional boxing ring and multiple punching bags.
