The Adidas handwraps are made of a optimal cotton-polyester blend that provides the ideal amount of stretch—soft and slightly elastic for maximum wrist support. The handwraps are comfortable and provide essential protection for the hands, knuckles, and wrists during boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai.

Available in 250 cm (short) and 450 cm (long), with a thumb loop for proper wrapping and a hook-and-loop closure. Washable and available in various colors.

Washing Handwraps – Why Washing Them Regularly Keeps Your Boxing Gloves Fresher Longer

Handwraps absorb a lot of sweat during training—otherwise, that sweat seeps into your boxing gloves and causes odors and bacterial growth. Washing your handwraps regularly is therefore not only hygienic for your hands, but also significantly extends the life of your boxing gloves.

The Adidas Stretch handwraps are washable —simply in the washing machine or by hand. Use a laundry bag to prevent the handwraps from getting tangled. After washing, let them air out thoroughly before use.

All Adidas handwraps are made of woven cotton. This cotton is slightly stretchy, making it easy for every boxer and kickboxer to wrap their hands.

What’s the best way to wash Adidas handwraps?

Adidas handwraps are best washed in a laundry bag or bra net in the washing machine at 30°C or lower. Hand-washing is actually even better.

It is important to fasten the Velcro before washing to prevent it from catching on other clothes or on the handwraps themselves. After washing, let the Adidas handwraps air-dry naturally. Do not put them in the dryer, as they may shrink and wrinkle unnecessarily.

  • Partially roll up the handwraps and place them in a laundry bag or bra net. 
  • Wash the handwraps in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C or hand-wash them.
  • Let the handwraps air-dry, preferably hanging them fully extended.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer. 

Extra tips:

  • Wash the handwraps regularly (after every training session) to keep them hygienically clean and fresh.
  • You can optionally use a mild detergent, but rinse the handwraps thoroughly to prevent soap residue.
  • Let the handwraps dry completely after washing before using them again.
