They are soft, usually inflatable balls that resemble a skippy ball and that originated in physiotherapy.
Yoga ball workouts focus primarily on balance and coordination, and increasing your core stability.
Versatile training materials
By exercising with a yoga ball you train multiple muscles and muscle groups at the same time, including those of your core, back, abdomen, legs and upper body.
Some well-known exercises are seated weightlifting or the 'dead bug', which effectively trains the abdominal muscles, among other things.
