The V-Strap Wrist Lock 2 system is a double diagonal hook-and-loop closure that you tighten firmly with one hand. Both sides of the cuff are pressed evenly - similar to professional taping.

The RS11V features extra-thick, layered 50 mm foam padding that absorbs and distributes the force of punches. The outer layer absorbs the initial impact; the inner layers distribute the remaining force over a larger surface area.

Voorheen Twins gebruikt, maar hiermee had ik regelmatig last van mijn knokkels. Nu overgestapt op deze Rival handschoenen en ik moet zeggen de padding is echt heel erg goed. Daarnaast voelen de handschoenen compact aan. Door de gewichtsverdeling voelen de handschoenen ontzettend "snel" aan, waardoor je het gevoel hebt dat je stoten net even wat venijniger zijn. Zeer tevreden meer, aanrader!

Het zit echt geweldig!! Zaterdag ben ik hier enorm mee geholpen wat een geweldige service. Eigenlijk wilde ik voor hayabusa's gaan. Maar bij nader inzien en het gepast te hebben zitten de rivals zoveel beter en steviger! . Het zit wel wat strak, maar al gauw genoeg merk je daar niks meer van. Dit is zeker een aanrader ik heb nog nooit zulke fijne bokshandschoenen gehad!!!

Na een drie-tal trainingen heel tevreden mee. De polsondersteuning is uitstekend en ze zitten heel goed. Ik zou enkel zeggen dat ze vanbinnen heel warm worden en geen verluchting hebben aan de handpalm, wat ik spijtig vind. Het kan wel zijn dat de meeste leren handschoenen dit niet hebben, maar mijn vorige (XPRT) hadden dat wel. Voor de rest lijken me deze goed voor de prijs.

How does Wrist-Lock 2 work?

Rival developed the double-angle V-strap to improve their products even further.  

The Wrist Lock 2 is attached via a loop on both the thumb side and the other side of the glove, ensuring that both sides of a glove, from the thumb to the cuff, are pressed evenly when fastening the strap. This is similar to tape applied over the cuff of a professional competition glove.

This system in a hook-and-loop glove comes as close as possible to the comfort and stability of a fully lace-up boxing glove.

How do Rival boxing gloves fit?
