Care, washing & storage

Caring for boxing gloves and shin guards:

  • Take them out of your bag immediately after training.
  • Wipe the outside with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Use a deodorizer to help your boxing gloves dry faster and more thoroughly on the inside.
  • Store them in a cool, dry place with good natural ventilation.
  • You can also use an antibacterial spray.
  • For leather boxing gloves or shin guards: use leather grease/leather conditioner once a month to prevent cracking and drying out. 

Handwrap washing instructions:

  • Partially roll up the handwraps 
  • Fasten the Velcro together
  • Use a laundry bag
  • Do not use fabric softener
  • Machine wash cold, at a maximum of 30°C; hand washing is preferred
  • Let the handwraps air-dry, preferably hung out at full length.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer. 

Mouthguard care:

  • Rinse under lukewarm water after use
  • Use a soft toothbrush and special mouthguard cleaner to clean the mouthguard.
  • Rinse thoroughly
  • Let the mouthguard air-dry completely. It is best to do this in a clean, ventilated antimicrobial Protective case specially designed for this purpose.

The boxing gloves are made of blue camouflage synthetic leather with extra-sturdy padding, providing optimal protection for the child's hands with every punch and block.

The black shin guards are pulled on like socks and stay in place once fitted. No shifting or twisting during training.

The sturdy padding provides excellent protection for the shin and instep, even when technique is not always perfect yet.

Voor ons 7-jarige zoontje die tenger is hebben wij de kinder bokshandschoenen XPRT Vision V2 Blue (6OZ) gekocht, met de scheenbeschermers XPRT Competitor V1 blauw (kous-model) maat XS. Voor de oudste zoon (9 jaar, maar groot en stevig) hebben we de kinder bokshandschoenen XPRT Camo V2 groen (10 oz) gekocht met de scheenbeschermers XPRT Competitor Camo V2 groen (kous-model) maat M. Levering en bestelling zijn vlot verlopen, het is goede kwaliteit, alles past perfect en het ziet er heel mooi uit. De jongens zijn superblij met hun nieuwe spullen!

Bij de eerste training is er door het vele stof aan de binnenkant de vinger van mijn dochter bekneld geraakt en kreeg ze de handschoen niet uit. De vinger werd pijnlijker en we hebben de bokshandschoen open moeten knippen om haar te bevrijden. Waardeloos dus.
