Silicone non-slip grip + double hook-and-loop closure—stays firmly in place

The inside features hundreds of Silicone beads that provide a non-slip grip on the leg—the shin guards do not rotate during training. The double hook-and-loop closure secures the guards firmly in place. Two reinforced elastic straps—one behind the Achilles tendon and one under the foot—provide extra stability. The elastic strap under the foot has a special finish for improved durability.

Tips for Hayabusa T3 Shin guards

Of Hayabusa T3 shin guards are available in sizes S to XL - choose your size carefully. Shin guards that are too large will shift while kicking, while ones that are too small provide insufficient coverage of the shin.

A ankle sock under the T3 can prevent chafing, keep the inside clean, and provide extra grip on the leg. The double hook-and-loop closure is most secure when fastened from bottom to top.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over de T3 scheenbeschermers. Ze voelen en beschermen uitstekend, verschuiven niet en zijn comfortabel en ademend. Mijn enige kritiekpunt is dat ik veel extra bandjes aan de buitenkant van de beschermer heb, maar dat komt doordat ik bijzonder smalle kuiten heb.

Het is geweldig - ze zijn het geld waard. Ik ben een van die mensen die de beste uitrusting wil als ik iets doe, dus toen ik begon, kocht ik de goedkoopste scheenbeschermers die ik kon vinden. Nu ik weet dat ik van de training houd, ben ik overgestapt en dat was de beste beslissing die ik ooit heb genomen. Ik heb voor de large gekozen, maar had waarschijnlijk ook de medium variant kunnen nemen. Ze passen goed, zitten supercomfortabel en zijn gemaakt van hoogwaardige materialen. Geen spijt van.

How do I fasten my Hayabusa shin guards?

The Hayabusa shin guards all feature a so-called “hook & loop closure”. This is combined with additional elastic straps behind the Achilles tendon and under the foot.

Hook and loop means passing a strap through a buckle or loop, then bringing it back and pulling it tight.

Are Hayabusa shin guards suitable for everyone?

No.

Although the Hayabusa T3 are fantastic shin guards, we wouldn’t recommend them to everyone.

The Hayabusa T3 shin guards run very large and wide. The fit is excellent, but they’re not suitable for people with slim or thin legs.

What material are Hayabusa shin guards made of?

The T3 Carbon, Storm, and Trophy are made from VYLAR-2 synthetic leather.

VYLAR-2 synthetic leather has been scientifically proven to be up to almost 30% stronger than regular leather. These Hayabusa shin guards will therefore certainly not be inferior to genuine leather shin guards. In addition, the color of Vylar-2 synthetic leather lasts longer, and no cracks develop in the synthetic leather. 

The T3 LX Retro is made from the finest Italian cowhide, ensuring high durability, and the leather is highly resistant to wear.
