Maintaining jump ropes

Wipe handles with a clean, dry cloth.
Keep the jump rope clean and dry by avoiding dirt and moisture.
Store in a cool, dry place with good natural ventilation.
Do NOT wash in the washing machine or dryer.
Regularly inspect the rope for wear and tear, such as fraying and cuts, and replace it if it is too worn.
To maintain the bearings of a speed rope, you can use a silicone spray.
