Maintenance of safety punches and safety kicks:
- Remove from your bag immediately after sports.
- Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth.
- Use a deodorizer to help your safety punches dry faster and better from the inside.
- Store in a cool, dry place with good natural ventilation.
- Optionally, use an antibacterial spray.
- For leather safety punches and kicks: use leather grease/conditioner once a month to prevent cracks and drying out.
Washing instructions dobok (Taekwondo suit):
- Always check for special washing instructions on the label first.
- Wash inside out
- Wash separately or with similar colors (white)
- Machine wash cold, max 40°C with a low spin cycle
- You can use a dryer on low heat, but preferably air dry
- Iron your suit to look neat
Mouthguard maintenance:
- Rinse under lukewarm water after use
- Use a soft toothbrush or special mouthguard cleaner to clean the mouthguard.
- Rinse thoroughly
- Allow the mouthguard to air dry completely. This is best done in a clean, ventilated anti-microbial storage case specifically designed for this purpose.
