Without a doubt, something the company can be proud of.

A slight curve gives the striking surface a different shape from a flat pad. This can be comfortable for certain kicking angles and the position in which the pad holder holds it.

Whether a curved pad works better also depends on its size, padding, handles and the exercise. The curve alone does not prove better shock absorption or a lower risk of injury.

That depends on the exercise, the feel you want on contact, and the experience of the athlete and pad holder. A softer pad feels different on impact; a firmer pad can provide more direct feedback.

Don’t choose solely based on the rule that soft pads are for beginners and firm pads are for advanced athletes. Size, thickness, material, contact surface, and how the pad is held also matter. Neither type makes striking incorrectly or training too hard safe.

The Booster CKS Pro is described as the firmer, curved version of the standard CKS. The Skintex covering forms the outer layer, with padding underneath. Compare the feel on impact, size, and handles in particular.

The Booster CKS Pro Kicking shield is made of Skintex—a particularly strong and moisture-resistant material—with thick padding for perfect shock absorption during powerful techniques. The curved model ensures optimal absorption of kicks and crosses from all angles.

The Booster CKS Pro is a kicking shield for partner-assisted kick and combination training. Its curved striking surface helps the holder present a target.

Which knees, elbows or other techniques are suitable depends on the instructions for use and the exercise. Adjust the force to suit the shield and the holder’s experience.
