Good punching mitts are suited to both the pad work you do and the hand holding them. Fast boxing combinations call for something different than powerful punches or combinations with kicks. Below, you’ll find options for entry-level, premium and top-tier training, followed by the Winning models and larger hybrid mitts.
How to read our ratings
We rate ergonomics, impact absorption and build quality out of 10 points each. Together, they add up to a maximum of 30 points; to calculate the average out of 10, we divide the total by three. Ergonomics covers grip, fit on the hand and handling. For impact absorption, we look at the padding construction; for build quality, we assess the materials and finish.
The scores are editorial assessments based on product specifications, construction and available user feedback, not laboratory measurements. Use them alongside the descriptions: a smaller striking surface or a different hand opening may matter more for your training than a one-point difference.
Published Loox reviews are separate from our scores. The same review is counted only once, even when a model comes in multiple colors. Comments about delivery and service are included in the customer average, but don’t directly say anything about the mitt itself. With few reviews, the picture remains limited.
When checking weights, note the unit: per pair or per punching mitt. Current prices and availability are shown with the products. A temporarily out-of-stock model remains in the comparison.
