Revo vs. Revo 2 - what is the difference?

The original Revo has an extra-long shaft for maximum wrist support—ideal for trainers who absorb a lot of hard punches. The Revo 2 has an adjustable wrist strap instead of the long shaft—more compact, slightly lighter, and quicker to put on and take off.

Choose the Revo if you want maximum wrist support. Choose the Revo 2 if you prefer an adjustable fit and a slightly more compact model for fast mitt sessions.

What is the difference between punching mitts, focus pads, Thai pads, and kicking shields?

Punching mitts and focus pads are compact targets for focused pad work, usually involving punches or light precision techniques. Thai pads are held against the arm and are designed for combinations that also include kicks.

Punching shields provide a larger target for punching combinations. A kicking shield is designed for kick training and has a different shape and grip. Size alone does not determine how much impact is safe; adjust your technique and intensity to the specific pad and the person holding it.
