Care, washing & storage

Care for safety punches and safety kicks:

  • Take them out of your bag immediately after training.
  • Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Use a deodorizer to help your safety punches dry faster and more thoroughly on the inside.
  • Store them in a cool, dry place with good natural ventilation.
  • You can also use an antibacterial spray.
  • For leather safety punches and kicks: use leather grease/leather conditioner once a month to prevent cracking and drying out. 

Washing instructions for dobok (taekwondo uniform):

  • Always check the label first for any special washing instructions.
  • Wash inside out.
  • Wash separately or with the same colors (white).
  • Machine-wash cold, at a maximum of 40°C and with a low spin speed.
  • You can use a dryer on a low setting, but preferably air-dry outdoors.
  • Iron your uniform so you look neat and presentable.

Care for mouthguards:

  • Rinse under lukewarm water after use.
  • Use a soft toothbrush and special mouthguard cleaner to clean the mouthguard.
  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Allow the mouthguard to air-dry completely. It is best to do this in a clean, ventilated antimicrobial Protective case specially designed for this purpose.

These are lightweight and made of stretchy elastic material. They are very comfortable to use and especially pleasant to wear while sparren!
