Care, washing & storage

For Rival gloves, pads and headgear, follow this brand-specific advice: wipe them with a clean, dry cloth and let them air-dry outside the bag in a cool, shady, well-ventilated place. Use only mild cleaners or sports sprays suitable for the material. Do not use petroleum jelly, oil, leather grease or heavy creams on Rival gear, even on leather versions. Do not use any leather greases or heavy conditioners shown below on Rival either. Avoid washing machines, tumble dryers, direct heat and sunlight.

  • Air out thoroughly after each use.
  • Wipe the outside with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Store in a cool, dry place with good natural ventilation.
  • Use an antibacterial spray if needed.
  • Not applicable to Rival: Apply leather grease/leather conditioner once a month to prevent cracking and drying out (for leather pads and cushions)
  • Do NOT put in the washing machine or tumble dryer

The FXB-KP is made from high-quality synthetic leather and combines a relatively light weight with thick padding that provides maximum protection.

Both trainer and athlete are well protected—even against the hardest kicking techniques used by professional kickboxers and Muay Thai practitioners.

Double hook-and-loop straps and grip bar - maximum stability

The FXB-KP features 2 hook-and-loop straps around the forearm for an adjustable, secure fit—tighter than a single fastening, keeping the pad stable even when absorbing powerful kicks.

The grip bar at the back gives the trainer extra support when positioning the pad for knee strikes, teep kicks, and combinations.

The slightly curved shape follows the natural position of the arm and reduces wrist strain when absorbing powerful kicks.
