Training sticks vs. punching mitts – what’s the difference?

Punching mitts are large and absorb the full impact of punches – ideal for developing power and training technique. Training sticks are narrow and lightweight – they are not designed to absorb hard punches, but to train reaction speed and accuracy.

The trainer moves the sticks rapidly into different positions – the athlete must react and make contact. This trains hand-eye coordination, reaction time, and the precision of punches and kicks in a way that punching mitts cannot.

Foam + PU – lightweight and durable

Made from strong foam padding with a durable PU finish – lightweight enough for extended use without tiring the trainer’s wrists and shoulders, yet sturdy enough to withstand intensive use.

The ergonomic handle with elastic wrist strap provides a secure, comfortable grip – the sticks will not slip from the hand during fast movements. Supplied as a pair, allowing both hands to be used simultaneously for complex combinations.
