The Jaw-Secure technology from SafeJawz ensures that your lower teeth are protected, even though it is a single mouthguard.

Thanks to the unique shape of the bottom, your lower teeth practically click into the mouthguard. This way, both your teeth and jaw are perfectly protected.

The mouthguard can be remolded up to 3 times if you are not completely satisfied with the fit.

Boil water in a saucepan (or kettle), then remove it from the heat for a few seconds. Next, place the mouthguard in the water briefly until it softens.

How do I keep my mouthguard hygienically clean and fresh?

The best thing to do is to clean your mouthguard after each use. You do this by at least rinsing the mouthguard with running water.

You do this to remove bacteria that can grow and spread in your mouthguard.

The best step-by-step plan to keep your mouthguard clean:

1. Rinse:
Rinse your mouthguard immediately after use under lukewarm water to remove food particles and saliva.

2. Clean:
Use a soft toothbrush and a special mouthguard cleaner to clean the mouthguard.

3. Rinse thoroughly:
After cleaning, rinse the mouthguard well under running water to remove all residue.

4. Dry:
Let the mouthguard air dry completely. It is best to do this in a clean, ventilated, antimicrobial Protective case specially made for this purpose.

5. Store:
Store the dry mouthguard in the specially designed antimicrobial Protective case to keep it clean and hygienically fresh until the next training session.

SafeJawz was founded by two (martial arts) athletes; at SafeJawz, they understand the importance of a well-fitting mouthguard that does not fall short when it comes to protection or comfort.

The founders built the brand from the ground up. Starting with an investment of £1500 (raised by co-founder Ewan Jones by selling his car), the entrepreneurs bought sports accessories on sale and began selling them at market stalls and online marketplaces.

The brand specializes in both self-fitting and custom-made (handcrafted) mouthguards. Today, SafeJawz offers mouthguards for professional elite athletes, including English Rugby Internationals Joe Marler & Courtney Lawes, and world champion boxers, including George Groves and Charlie Edwards.
