Top 3 women's boxing gloves up to €100 (2025)

That boxing gloves are one of the most important pieces of equipment in most martial arts, such as boxing and kickboxing, is no surprise. That is why our entire collection of boxing gloves is so extensive. We can well imagine that the large selection makes it difficult for you to make the right choice.

Best-buy guide: Top 3 best women's boxing gloves

That is why there is now this best-buy guide especially for women. Moreover, there was already our website, where we have made a selection of boxing gloves that we find very suitable for women. And no, they are not all pink or in sweet colors. That can be, but we mainly looked (based on our experiences with customers) at which boxing gloves are more suitable for women.

Boxing gloves most suitable for women

There are actually no "real" boxing gloves specifically for women. Boxing gloves are almost always unisex. Women's boxing gloves differ mainly in color and weight from men's boxing gloves.

Although most brands and manufacturers do not make separate women's boxing gloves, some martial arts brands such as TwinsHayabusa and Booster also specifically focus on women. We also have a very extensive selection of women's boxing gloves from the brand XPRT Fight Gear.

Important aspects when choosing boxing gloves for women

Now that you are ready to make a decision about your first or next pair of boxing gloves, we present you this blog with our findings. Some questions immediately arise:

  • For which martial art will you use the boxing gloves?
  • What type of boxing gloves do you prefer?
  • Do you have a preference for the type of closure or the materials used?
  • What is the budget you want to spend on a pair of boxing gloves?

Women's gloves for boxing and kickboxing

Most people look for a pair of boxing gloves (logically) for the most popular martial arts: boxing and kickboxing. That is what we will focus on in this guide.

For other group classes and self-defense systems, such as krav maga and cardio boksen, you can use the same boxing gloves.

If you are only going to train on the bag or work exclusively on pads with a personal trainer, we recommend looking at a pair of bag gloves. We have also written some very good best-buy guides for these.

At the time of writing, Fight2Win has a selection of no less than 300+ different boxing gloves in the range. From this, we will make a selection of the top 3 women's boxing gloves up to 100 euros. We conduct this research based on customer experiences and feedback, popularity in terms of sales, and our own expertise.

Division by price category

Since the available budget is often a determining factor for the choice, we have divided the boxing gloves into 3 price categories: up to 100 euros, up to 200 euros, and the absolute top class above 200 euros.

As a first step, we have taken a category up to one hundred euros, because if you go well below this, you actually end up with "toy" boxing gloves, and that is not something we as a specialty store pay attention to.

We start with the first category (up to 100 euros) and will cover the other categories in future blogs.

In addition, we have a separate category specifically for those looking for bag gloves: bag gloves.

Criteria for scoring women's boxing gloves

When evaluating the boxing gloves for women, we look at what we consider the most important properties of a women's boxing glove: fit, protection, build quality, and comfort. We will score the boxing gloves based on these criteria.

  1. Fit & comfort: By fit and comfort, we mean of course whether the gloves fit snugly without pinching. That the gloves are easy to put on, even with handwraps on, and provide enough room for the fingers. We also consider things like a comfortable grip bar (which helps you make a better fist) and good ventilation in our assessment of this aspect.
  2. Protection & support: Protection is the extent to which the boxing gloves do what they are intended for: protecting the opponent, but also your own hands, knuckles, and wrists. The closure is important here, as is the padding. The padding is actually the most important part of a boxing glove and it is the hardest to judge without first using them (or testing them, as we do).
  3. Build quality: The materials used, finish, and sturdiness of the boxing glove. We also look at details such as stitching and Velcro. We also take into account the durability of the padding with reasonably intensive use.

Since we have divided the women's boxing gloves, as previously stated, into 3 price categories, we do not use price as a scoring criterion in this best-buy guide.

Best buy: women's boxing gloves up to €100

  1. XPRT Top Gloves

  3. King Pro Boxing Revo

1. XPRT Top Gloves

Boxing gloves XPRT Top Gloves black pink

The XPRT Top Gloves miraculously fall well below the set limit of 100 euros. We have been selling this model of leather boxing glove for almost 20 years and can honestly say that this is truly a "steal" in terms of price-quality ratio.

It is a relatively basic women’s boxing glove, without marketing tricks like special closures or ventilation gimmicks. However, the gloves are of exceptionally high quality for this price range. After all, a pair of leather boxing gloves well under 100 euros including VAT is quite a bargain.

The Top Gloves have a Velcro closure and comfortable padding on the striking surface as well as in the palms. They are available in all common sizes and various colors, including the black-pink shown in the photo above. Tough with a feminine touch. They also come in fully pink or fully black.

Fit & comfort XPRT Top Gloves (Score: 8/10)

The fit of the XPRT Top Gloves can simply be called very good. This is a serious boxing glove, and we have been happily selling it to our customers, both men and women, for years.

But especially for women, who are the main focus of this best-buy guide, this boxing glove is extremely suitable due to the somewhat narrower and smaller interior. For some men, the XPRT Top Gloves may feel tight, but for most women with narrower and finer hands, this is actually a plus!

The boxing gloves fit well with handwraps on, and because they are made of genuine leather, they gradually form more comfortably to your hands. Like most boxing gloves, they also become more flexible after being broken in.

Lovely glove for the ladies. Also highly recommended for heavy bag training.

Tahnee (Loox Verified Review)

These gloves from XPRT Fight Gear are, of course, equipped with an easy long and wide Velcro closure. This can be easily closed and tightened even with just one glove on.

Because the boxing gloves have comfortable padding in the palms (which is great for absorbing punches), there is no space for ventilation holes there. However, the opening at the closure extends long enough to allow sufficient ventilation in principle. Another advantage is that they are made of genuine leather, which naturally breathes much better than synthetic materials.

The grip bar in the boxing gloves is also present and ensures you can make a good fist whether you choose 10 oz, 12 oz, or 14 oz. We rate the XPRT Top Gloves a solid and neat 8+ points for this feature.

Protection & support XPRT Top Gloves (Score: 8/10)

The padding of the XPRT Top Gloves is proven to be very good. The padding throughout the boxing glove is of excellent thickness, and the filling used feels firm yet soft enough.

The padding is thick enough to protect your hands well and also keep your partner safe. The padding remains firm even after extended use. We have noticed that softer fillings are nice at first but become too soft too quickly, allowing your knuckles to poke through. You won’t have that problem with the XPRT Top Gloves.

The previously mentioned padding in the palms also provides just a little extra protection when absorbing punches from your opponent. Something that happens frequently in many boxing classes, cardio boxing classes, and HIIT training sessions.

Very nice gloves made of soft leather, good fit and cushioning. I wear them with an inner glove.

Karin (Loox Verified Review)

The Velcro closure is made in a classic way, not like the latest solutions in more high-end boxing gloves, but it is good and sturdy. This also contributes to some wrist support.

In this area as well, the XPRT Top Gloves impress us and again score a solid 8 points.

Build quality XPRT Top Gloves (Score: 8/10)

Since we have been selling these boxing gloves for many years, we can give a very solid judgment on the build quality. It is simply outstanding. The outside of the gloves is made of sturdy leather that is particularly durable.

The padding is also of excellent quality and can handle many lessons with you if used properly. Punching bags and pad training are obviously not friends of a normal boxing glove. It’s possible, but keep in mind that this significantly shortens the lifespan of your gloves.

The lining is made of sturdy polyester material and is of good quality. Since we are reviewing women's boxing gloves here, we want to emphasize that long nails never really go well with the lining of any boxing glove.

Since we have a super sharp price for a solid boxing glove here, we rate the gloves from this XPRT Fight Gear series with a very respectable 8 points!

2. XPRT Pro V3

Boxing gloves XPRT Pro V3 Midnight

The second model in this top 3 women's boxing gloves is also a real value-for-money winner. The XPRT Pro V3 just falls within the set limit of 100 euros, making them almost unbeatable.

We have had this model in our range since 2010, and it is by far our best-selling boxing glove in recent years. They are available in a wide range of colors and in almost all common men's and women's sizes (weights).

Especially in matte black, these genuine leather boxing gloves are a feast for the eyes. Moreover, they fit almost everyone fantastically, both men and women.

Besides the popular matte black shown in the attached photos, they are also available in a beautiful matte black with pink. Tough with a feminine touch. Additionally, they come in solid dark blue, white, gray, army green, and more colors.

Boxing gloves XPRT Pro V3 Midnight

Fit & comfort XPRT Pro V3 (Score: 7/10)

The fit of the XPRT Pro V3 is very good. We generally find them more comfortable than the XPRT Top Gloves, but since this review focuses on boxing gloves for women, we score them slightly lower. Not because they fit worse, but as explained earlier, the Top Gloves are just a bit more suitable for most women due to their more compact fit.

The Pro V3 are truly luxurious leather boxing gloves for this price range and have a pleasant lining, comfortable velcro closure, and good overall fit.

The Pro V3 has ventilation holes in the palm that provide better airflow inside the boxing gloves during training. Since they are fully leather, they also breathe well and score well in this regard.

What stands out is that the XPRT Pro V3 are comfortable right from new. They already have a pleasant fit and don’t feel like they need to be broken in.

These boxing gloves look very nice. They have a beautiful color and are exactly like the photo. They are also really top quality. My trainer was amazed that I could buy them for this price. I am very happy with them.

Jenske (Loox Verified Review)

These top-class women's boxing gloves from XPRT Fight Gear naturally feature an easy long and wide velcro closure. It’s easy to close and tighten securely.

The grip bar in the boxing gloves is also present and allows you to make a solid fist whether you choose 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz, or even 16 oz. We give the XPRT Pro V3 a solid 7+ points for this feature.

Protection & support XPRT Pro V3 (Score: 8/10)

The padding of the XPRT Pro V3 is exceptionally good and rivals many more expensive boxing gloves in the higher segment. Especially on the striking surface, the Pro V3 has thick and "friendly" padding.

We use the term "friendly" padding here because these are also comfortable boxing gloves for your training partner: soft enough to absorb punches. However, the padding remains firm enough even after extended use.

The velcro closure on these boxing gloves is very convenient to use because it is nice and wide. This also provides some wrist support. However, make sure to use handwraps, as they don’t offer the superior support you find in, for example, a Hayabusa T3 or Rival RS11V.

Beautiful boxing gloves. Soft leather. They feel great and you can punch well with them. Very satisfied. 🤗

Maureen (Loox Verified Review)

In terms of protection and support, the XPRT Pro V3 impress us greatly and score well in the list.

Build quality XPRT Pro V3 (Score: 9/10)

Since we have been selling these boxing gloves since 2010, we can give a very objective judgment on the build quality. The best-selling boxing glove in our assortment now has over 100+ impartial real customer reviews and scores a fantastic 4.6 out of 5 stars!

The build quality of the XPRT Pro V3 is simply outstanding. The outside of the gloves is made of sturdy and soft leather that is durable but also looks and feels very luxurious.

The padding is also of exceptionally high quality and can compete with all boxing gloves in every price range. The XPRT Pro V3 are priced above the Top Gloves of the same brand, and that is noticeable. Everything looks a bit nicer and more luxuriously finished.

Since we simply have a pair of leather boxing gloves here for a super sharp price, we rate the XPRT Fight Gear Pro V3 boxing gloves with a very neat 9 points!

3. King Pro Boxing Revo

Boxing gloves King Pro Boxing Revo 5

The third model in this top 3 women's boxing gloves is one from the Thai brand King Pro Boxing. These boxing gloves from King Pro's economy line are available in 3 cool color schemes and in all common women's and men's sizes (10 to 16 oz).

It is a real boxing glove for beginners and recreationalists with a pleasant fit, but not made from the highest quality materials.

They look good and sell like hotcakes in our webshop. Makes sense, as they are quite competitively priced, and for kickboxers, matching shin guards are also available.

The King Pro Revo boxing gloves are true unisex boxing gloves and have a medium fit in terms of width and size.

Besides the sexy black-gold shown in the attached photos, they are also available in completely matte black and tough army green. They all look quite slick, and you can confidently wear them to any training.

Boxing gloves King Pro Boxing Revo 5

Fit & comfort King Pro Boxing Revo (Score: 8/10)

The fit of the King Pro Revo is more than sufficient to very good. Especially because they are made of synthetic leather, they are flexible enough from the start to put on easily.

The Revo's have nice mesh panels for ventilation, but in practice, you shouldn't expect too much from them. Since they are synthetic leather gloves, you'll also notice that they "breathe" significantly less well than the other models in this top 3 women's boxing gloves.

The comfort is very good and they fit nicely around your hands for a glove in this price range. The Velcro closure is also easy to grab and closes easily.

Feel good

Tina (Loox Verified Review)

These women's boxing gloves from King Pro Boxing have a grip bar in the middle of the mesh panel, which is easy to grip for the average women's hand. We give the King Pro Revo 8 points for fit & comfort.

Protection & support King Pro Revo (Score: 7/10)

The padding of the King Pro Revo is sufficient but feels very soft. Do not expect the padding of these boxing gloves to remain firm for a long time with regular use. For beginners, it offers the right level of protection for both your own hands and your opponent.

The Velcro closure of the Revo's is easy to use because it is nice and wide. However, it is softer than the XPRT boxing gloves in this test and therefore offers slightly less support.

Good quality

Mohammed (Loox Verified Review)

On average, the King Pro Revo boxing gloves offer good protection for gloves in this segment. The thumb is also well positioned and sufficiently protected against possible hits or impact.

In terms of protection and support, we give the King Pro Revo's a 7 out of 10 points.

Build quality King Pro Boxing Revo (Score: 6/10)

The synthetic leather King Pro Revo boxing gloves cannot compete with the build quality of both the Top Gloves and the XPRT Pro V3, which are both made of 100% genuine leather. It is also not the type of synthetic leather used by, for example, Hayabusa or Rival, but those gloves cost at least 2 to 3 times as much.

Still, the King Pro does not really convince us here. Sales figures do not lie, and this is an extremely popular women's boxing glove in our range. Probably because you have to compromise somewhere in this price range.

The padding is also of sufficient quality and the rest of the gloves are well finished. As long as you use this boxing glove for its intended purpose (recreational use), you have a very nice and comfortable glove at a fair price.

However, the competition offers fully leather boxing gloves for similar prices, so we can only give the King Pro Boxing 6 points in this category.

Essential information and questions about women's boxing gloves

What size boxing gloves for women?

Women usually choose 12 oz boxing gloves. This also depends on the martial arts brand and your own build.

90% of women choose a 12 oz glove, but if you are smaller and lighter you can also consider a 10 oz boxing glove. If you want to train heavier or are a bit taller yourself, you can of course go for 14 oz boxing gloves. This also partly depends on the brand.

For every brand and model of (women's) boxing gloves, we have placed a unique size chart. Consult this as much as possible to have a good guideline.

What is the difference between women's and men's boxing gloves?

There are actually no differences. There are no boxing gloves specifically for women or men. Boxing gloves are almost always suitable for both men and women (as they are usually ready-to-wear).

Women generally have slightly narrower hands than men, so it is wiser to choose a lighter (smaller) boxing glove. These are often automatically a bit smaller and narrower in fit.

How do I determine my size boxing gloves as a woman?

Boxing gloves are not based on "normal" sizes, but on weight sizes expressed in ounces (oz).

General size chart for women's boxing gloves:

Weight Size
up to 57 kg 10 oz
57 to 70 kg 12 oz
70 to 85 kg 14 oz
Over 85 kg 16 oz

For every brand and model of women's boxing gloves on our website, there is a unique size chart (at the size selection and at the bottom in the content). Here we provide the best possible guideline for what we think is the best choice for you for that specific model.

The rule of thumb is: "the heavier the person, the heavier the glove desired". A heavier boxing glove generally has more padding and is therefore safer for the hands and the training partner. Trainers generally prefer you to have heavier boxing gloves rather than lighter ones.

In short, women usually train with 10 oz, 12 oz, or 14 oz.

Which women's boxing gloves are best for bag training?

You can also use normal boxing gloves for bag training. However, they are not made for this and will wear out sooner than special bag gloves.

The Top Gloves from XPRT are, for example, a good choice. They offer excellent value for money and are also the winner of this test.

The advantage of "normal" boxing gloves is that you can train with them both on the punching bag and with a partner. However, at traditional boxing clubs, this is usually not appreciated. The padding of your sparring gloves is not meant to be damaged on the punching bag.

Separate bag gloves

Most of our customers actually prefer to buy only one pair of boxing gloves, although that is usually the best choice. If you regularly train on a punching bag (or with hand pads), it is really wiser to purchase separate bag gloves for that purpose. Both pairs will then last much longer.

If you want to purchase a pair of gloves specifically for punching bag training (and pad training), we definitely recommend the Rival RB50.

Are inner gloves or handwraps necessary for women's boxing gloves?

Yes. Wearing inner gloves is always recommended for women. Besides reinforcing your hands, they serve another (hygienic) purpose. Sweat is absorbed by the inner gloves, which you then wash. This keeps your gloves fresher and in better condition for longer.

Even better is to wear handwraps. These provide more support and protection. It may seem complicated to put them on, but you'll get the hang of it quickly. We often include links to videos on the product pages for handwraps to help you learn.

Another very popular option is to wear gel-wraps. These offer the convenience of inner gloves, the reinforcement of handwraps, and additionally the comfort of extra padding on your knuckles!
