The Rival Boxing wraps Guerrero are supplied in the most commonly used standard length: 4.5 metres (180").

Boxing wraps measuring 450 cm are recommended for adult men and women and older youths. This is the most popular and best-selling handwrap length.
Care, washing & storage
  • Partially roll up the handwraps.
  • Fasten the Velcro together.
  • Use a laundry bag.
  • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Machine wash cold, at a maximum of 30°C; hand washing is preferred.
  • Air-dry the handwraps, preferably hanging them fully extended.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer. 

Additional tips:

  • Wash the handwraps regularly (after every training session) to keep them hygienic.
  • You can use a mild detergent if desired, but rinse the handwraps thoroughly to prevent soap residue.
  • Let the handwraps dry completely after washing before using them again.

The Guerrero is a hybrid handwrap that combines the elasticity of a Mexican-style handwrap with the thickness and strength of a traditional cotton handwrap. The material—70% poly-viscose and 30% nylon—provides just the right amount of stretch for a comfortable fit, while the thicker construction offers extra strength, comfort, and protection during intense training.

The Guerrero is made from woven material that can be washed repeatedly without worrying about wear and tear. Wash separately in a laundry bag for the longest lifespan. Knuckle guards as an addition to handwraps

If your knuckles hurt despite using good boxing gloves and handwraps, you can also use a knuckle guard .

These are a supplement to your regular handwraps. Knuckle guards are ideal if you punch hard or have sore knuckles.

Most knuckle guards are made of fabric with foam or gel padding that provides extra absorption of the impact from your punches.

What’s the best way to wash boxing handwraps?

Handwraps are best washed by placing them in a laundry bag or bra wash bag and washing them in the washing machine at 30°C or lower. Hand washing is actually even better.

It is important to fasten the hook-and-loop closures together before washing to prevent them from catching on other clothes or on each other. After washing, let the handwraps air-dry naturally. Do not put them in the dryer, as they may shrink and wrinkle unnecessarily.

  • Partially roll up the handwraps and place them in a laundry bag or bra wash bag. 
  • Wash the handwraps in the washing machine at a maximum of 30°C or hand-wash them.
  • Let the handwraps air-dry, preferably hanging fully extended.
  • Do not put the handwraps in the dryer.

What size Rival handwraps should I choose?

The standard size of handwraps for adults is 180", which is approximately 450 cm. This is also by far the best-selling length.

If you find that too much, have smaller hands, or want to wrap less, you can choose 380 cm. 

If you want to wrap extra for added support for your knuckles and wrists, you can choose the extra-long 530 cm. Please note: this is exceptionally long and usually not suitable for beginners.
