Topkwaliteit voor harde heavybag-training
Deze bokshandschoenen zijn voor mij een mooi voorbeeld van “duurkoop is soms echt topkoop”.
Vanaf het eerste moment zitten mijn handen er als gegoten in. Ik heb bewust voor deze speciale bokszakhandschoenen gekozen omdat ik bij goedkopere handschoenen tijdens zware trainingen regelmatig last kreeg van gevoelige knokkels.
Met deze handschoenen, voorzien van Intelli D3O-schokdemping, was dat probleem eigenlijk vrij snel verdwenen. Vooral tijdens harde heavybag-trainingen merk je het verschil: de impact wordt veel prettiger opgevangen, zonder dat je het gevoel krijgt dat je kracht verloren gaat.
Wat ik daarnaast erg fijn vind, is hoe stabiel en comfortabel ze aanvoelen wanneer je hard combineert, veel stoten achter elkaar geeft en echt voluit op de zak werkt.
Voor mij zijn dit dan ook geen handschoenen voor een beetje recreatief tikken tegen de bokszak, maar juist voor de serieuze, intensieve heavybag-training waarbij je flink wilt doorhalen.

De handschoenen zijn zeer goed gebouwd en van premium kwaliteit. Het biedt zo'n snelle en pop-ponservaring. Ze zijn erg licht van gewicht. Advies: maat groter! Ik ben een kleine vrouw die 54 kg weegt en de Medium past mij nauwsluitend en precies goed. Ik kan in dit formaat helemaal geen bandages gebruiken. Ik heb ook dunne polsen en de polssteun is geweldig en van de juiste maat (ben blij dat ik nu niet de kleine heb besteld - misschien is small een juniormaat?)
De RB50 is een zeer goede zakhandschoen. Het ontwerp en de logo's zijn netjes en strak. Ik ging voor wit en het is een mooie handschoen. Mijn handen zijn doorgaans middelgroot (ik ben 170 cm en 65 kg), maar ik kocht de RB50 in Large en ze passen geweldig. Ik raad aan om er een te nemen die groter is dan de maat die je normaal zou gebruiken, maar het hangt af van hoe je wilt dat de handschoenen passen. Ze zijn zeer licht en zorgen voor een goede hand- en polsstabiliteit. Een zeer goede handschoen in een goede prijsklasse.
