Frequently Asked Questions — Materials & Accessories

What is the difference between a regular jump rope and a speedrope?

A jump rope and a speedrope are both used for skipping, but they differ in weight and intended use. Speedropes are lightweight and specifically designed for fast jumps (such as double unders). Regular jump ropes are generally heavier and are used for general conditioning, warm-up fitness, and cross-training.

Speedropes:

  • Lightweight: made from thin PVC or steel cables, allowing them to spin faster.
  • Speed training: mainly used for intensive exercises such as double unders, speed skipping, and agility training.
  • Suitable for: athletes and people who want to improve their speed, agility, and coordination.

Jump ropes:

  • Variable weight: can range from light to extra heavy, and some are weighted for strength and endurance training. For example, the Rival weighted jump rope.
  • Versatile: suitable for various workouts, including basic skipping, cross-training, and building endurance.
  • Suitable for: beginners and people looking for a full-body workout, including strength and cardio benefits.

In short, if you want to jump as fast as possible or develop advanced skills, a speedrope is the better choice. If you are looking for a more versatile workout or want to build your overall fitness, a regular jump rope is the better choice.

How long should a jump rope be?

For adults, a jump rope should have the following length: stand with both feet in the middle of the rope and pull the handles upward. The handles of the jump rope should reach about up to your armpits or sternum.

Does it matter which sports bag I use?

Yes, for example, if you put shin guards in a bag that is too small, it will affect the shape, sturdiness, and protection of the product. In short: you don't want to cram products into the bag.

Additionally, some sports bags offer more advantages than others, such as the use of mesh panels, which make a sports bag more breathable and therefore more hygienic. This prevents unpleasant odors from lingering and allows your gloves and/or shin guards to "breathe" better.

Collections

Is this sports bag big enough for all my gear?

We have included the dimensions of all bags in a size chart (this can be found at the top when choosing a size and at the bottom under information, then the "size" tab). We have also listed the capacity in liters.

Collections

Does this sports bag have a "wet" compartment?

Yes.

This sports bag has a separate compartment where you can put your wet clothes and towel after training to keep them separate from the rest of your belongings.
