What size Krav Maga shin guards do I need?
In our martial arts shop near Rotterdam you can of course come and try on the Krav Maga protection of your choice. We have all common models in stock, unless otherwise stated.
However, you cannot compare the sizes of the different brands. For example, a King XL is many times larger than a Twins XL. That is why you are wise to follow our size chart. In 9 out of 10 cases, you will have made the right choice.
For small children, our advice is actually always a sock model (without foot) Krav children's shin guard. Children from 8-10 years can make the step to the cotton shin guard that is equipped with 3 elastic Velcro closures.
If you have any doubts, please contact us by email or by phone at 010-2263868. You can also come by and try everything on in the store. We are open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00.
Maintenance Krav Maga shin guards
Of course you want your Krav Maga gear to stay in good condition. Your clothes can go in the wash, but your boxing gloves and shin guards should definitely NOT GO IN THE WASHING MACHINE.
So how do you make sure your Krav shin guards stay in good condition? To start, dry your shin guards with a towel after training. This prevents sweat from getting into them. But of course sweat is also getting into them during training. That's why it's wise for people who sweat a lot to let their shin guards ventilate well. A good place is the doormat.
We also sell an antibacterial Sukkiri & Fresh KO spray. This spray kills all bacteria that cause unpleasant odors.
