We have boxing gloves with lace closure in the most common weights 12 oz, 14 oz, and 16 oz in stock, but sometimes also in official competition weight 10 oz.

The end of the laces is then tied around the wrist part of the lace boxing glove. Boxing gloves with lace closure are otherwise usually almost identical to gloves with a (easier) Velcro closure.

Advantages of boxing gloves with laces:

• Snug, secure, and comfortable fit around the wrist
• Usually padded wrists for increased comfort
  
• The cuff around the wrists feels more streamlined and less bulky
• No risk of scratches from Velcro for opponents

Disadvantages of boxing gloves with laces:

• Need help from another person to tie
• Slower to put on and take off, so not ideal for shorter training sessions
• Ends of laces can cut opponents
