Betekenis

Widely considered the greatest upset in boxing history and one of the most shocking moments in all of sport. Mike Tyson entered the fight as a 42-to-1 favourite — considered by many to be unbeatable. Buster Douglas, whose mother had died 23 days before the fight, delivered the performance of a lifetime. He absorbed a Tyson knockdown in round 8 and came back to stop the champion in round 10, becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. The result stunned a global audience and proved that on any given night, anything is possible in boxing.
