Evander Holyfield's stunning upset over Mike Tyson was one of the defining moments of 1990s boxing. Written off by virtually every pundit, Holyfield walked Tyson down, hurt him repeatedly and stopped him in the 11th round to become WBA Heavyweight Champion. It was only the second time Tyson had been stopped in his professional career. The victory proved Holyfield's warrior spirit and set the stage for the infamous rematch — the Bite Fight — seven months later.
