Jay Rodriguez

Rodriguez built a strong wrestling career at a New Jersey high school, earning regional and district titles and setting a school record of 136 wins against 19 losses. That foundation translated into a rapid breakthrough in the no-gi jiu-jitsu world.

In 2022, as a blue belt, he won the ADCC West Coast Trials. In 2024, he reached the West Coast Trials final again and won silver at the ADCC World Championship. He also recorded notable submission victories at the Emerald City Invitational and UFC Fight Pass Invitational. Rodriguez is the younger brother of Nick “Nicky Rod” Rodriguez.
