Historic boxing club in New York, founded in 1939 by boxing legend Cus D'Amato and his business partner Jack Barrow. Located in the Gramercy Gym building at 116 East 14th Street in Manhattan. D'Amato opened the club at the age of 22 to train and mentor young boxers. The club laid the foundation for his legendary coaching career. The location is commemorated by a street sign named Cus D'Amato Way.
