The Boxing Federation of Serbia (Боксерски савез Србије), internationally the Serbian Boxing Federation, is Serbia's national boxing federation. Its office is located at Terazije 45 in Belgrade and is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Profile

According to the European Boxing membership list, Nenad Borovčanin is the federation's president and Uroš Pušković general secretary.

The federation has a board, a supervisory body, a general secretary, and a group of officials and trainers, and publishes its statutes, regulations, and tenders. Contact is available via box.serbia@gmail.com and +381 11 61 82 891.

Activities and role

The federation organizes three established competitions: the Serbian Regional League, the League of Olympic Hopes for young talent and the Open Balkan Cup, in addition to the national championships.

The Open Balkan Cup is explicitly cross-border. In the 2025/26 season, the standings after seven rounds were led by Pink Panter from Štip in North Macedonia, ahead of Konstantin from Loznica and Topličanin, with further clubs from Bijelo Polje in Montenegro, Novi Pazar, Belgrade, Leskovac, Jagodina, Surdulica, Kragujevac, Niš and Bitola.

In addition, in 2026 the federation signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Hungarian Boxing Federation.

Membership and participation

Both in World Boxing and in European Boxing Serbia is registered as an endorsed member and therefore not as a full member.

Why this matters

Impact and meaning

Serbia is a regular host of international youth tournaments: the 2026 European Youth Championship was held in Serbia, with participants from across Europe.

In 2026, the federation reported nine medals in one week for Serbian youth, with Sara and Rastko standing out, and a rise by Almir Memić in the world rankings after a victory over Kiziria.
