The WKB bases its international vision on the legacy of Sosai Mas Oyama and the Kyokushin tradition. The federation aims to pass on the essence of that tradition through training, discipline and respect.

At the same time, the WKB sees room for the development of budo in the modern world. Tradition and progress are not viewed as opposites, but as elements of a living martial art.

The WKB organizes and supports international championships, European championships, weight-class competitions, kata competitions, training camps and seminars.

The federation publishes competition rules and supports dojos and branch chiefs in preparing athletes and developing Kyokushin Karate.

Through international gatherings, karate practitioners and instructors can exchange knowledge, experience and training methods within a global WKB community.
