Sportcampus Zuiderpark

The campus is located where the Zuiderparkstadion of ADO Den Haag stood until 2007. The new building was opened on 14 June 2017.

In September 2017, the Dutch Davis Cup team played a playoff match there against the Czech Republic, which, after trailing 2-0, ultimately ended in a 3-2 victory. In April 2022, the campus hosted the fifth Invictus Games.

The complex measures 33,000 square metres and was designed by Russ Davenport and Henk Merle of FaulknerBrowns Architects in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Its distinctive features are its asymmetrical circular shape and façade made of polished stainless steel, which changes colour with the sunlight, cloud cover and greenery in the surrounding area.

Under one roof are an elite sports hall, a beach sports hall for beach soccer and beach volleyball, a gymnastics hall, a double-width recreational sports hall, four gymnasiums, a dance hall and a dojo for martial arts.

There is also a strength and conditioning center, a physiotherapy practice, meeting rooms and catering facilities. The elite sports hall is home to the basketball team The Hague Royals in the BNXT League.

The building was nominated in 2018 for Best Building of the Year in the Livability and Social Cohesion category.

The surrounding sports complex includes eight football pitches, a multifunctional artificial turf field for hockey and tennis, and a beach court.
