Kamara grew up in Le Havre and built an impressive record in French savate there. He became French Elite A champion, European champion in 2022, and world champion in January 2024 in the up-to-80 kg category. In 2025, he took part in the K-1 WORLD MAX tournament at up to 70 kg, where he lost to Albijon Morina in the opening round. In 2026, he qualified again for the K-1 WORLD MAX Final 16. This makes him a clear link between French savate and international K-1 kickboxing.
