The story

Ben Woolliss, nicknamed 'The Problem', was born in Grimsby, England. He initially took up running and began practicing martial arts at the age of thirteen. He later moved to Hertfordshire to study sports coaching and went on to become one of the United Kingdom's better kickboxers. At 26, his career was put on hold by Crohn's disease; to recover, he moved to Bali, where he now trains at Soma Fight Club.
In March 2026, he made an impression at ONE Championship with a first-round TKO victory over former ONE kickboxing world champion John Lineker (ONE Fight Night 41). He then lost decisions to Petchtanong Petchfergus and Yuki Yoza. On October 2, 2026, he will face undefeated Russian Dzhamil Osmanov in bantamweight kickboxing at The Inner Circle 33.
