Zamboanga grew up in Quezon City as one of four sisters and began karate at the encouragement of her older brother, Drex Zamboanga, himself a Filipino champion, initially purely for self-defense purposes. That karate foundation later translated into a versatile MMA style with sharp striking and solid ground skills. Before signing with ONE Championship, she built an undefeated 5-0 regional record, with four finishes.
After her ONE Championship debut in 2019, she steadily climbed the stacked atomweight division, with victories over the likes of Ham Seo Hee, Noelle Grandjean, Julie Mezabarba, and Lin Heqin. On January 11, 2025, she captured the interim title at ONE Fight Night 27 with a second-round TKO victory over Alyona Rassohyna. When champion Stamp Fairtex was forced to vacate the title due to injury, Zamboanga was elevated to undisputed ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Champion in May 2025—making history as the first Filipina world champion in the sport.
A scheduled first title defense against Ayaka Miura, announced for ONE 173 in Tokyo on November 16, 2025, did not take place: Zamboanga withdrew in late August 2025 for medical reasons, which later turned out to be related to her pregnancy. On June 23, 2026, she announced that she had since become a mother and relinquished her title. She said she was not saying a definitive goodbye to the sport and hoped to return in the future to reclaim the title she felt she had never truly lost.
