George Jarvis grew up in Crawley, England, and started Muay Thai at the age of five, trained by his own father, who runs the local Lumpini Crawley gym. That father-son bond remains the foundation of his career to this day: his father has been in his corner for almost every fight, with one deliberate exception in Spain. Jarvis built an impressive collection of titles through the British and international amateur and semi-professional circuits, including WBC Muaythai and ISKA world titles in various weight classes between 2019 and 2023.
The breakthrough to the very highest level came in November 2024, when Jarvis knocked out the renowned Thai fighter Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong at ONE Friday Fights 85. The victory earned him not only a performance bonus but also a lucrative six-figure contract with ONE Championship. Less than a year later, in August 2025, Jarvis got his chance against reigning champion Regian Eersel at ONE Fight Night 34—a fight that ended painfully quickly: Eersel finished it in less than ninety seconds.
Instead of stepping away, Jarvis bounced back with victories over, among others, Sinsamut and a second win over Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong, putting himself back in position for a title shot. That opportunity now comes on October 2, 2026, at The Inner Circle 33 in Bangkok, where he will face Eersel for the second time for the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Championship. Since becoming a father himself, Jarvis says his motivation has shifted: he is no longer fighting only for himself, but for his son and his father, whom he would love to “bring the belt home” to.
