He was already competing in the Thai ring at the age of eight, and by now Superlek has hundreds of fights and two ONE world titles in two sports to his name. “The Kicking Machine” is rightly regarded as one of the most complete Muay Thai and kickboxing technicians ever.

The story

Superlek, whose real name is Manachai Yamsiri, was born in Prakhon Chai, Buriram, Thailand. His uncle, Singdam Kiatmuu9, was an important mentor. Superlek began training and fighting at the Kiatmuu9 gym at the age of eight.

Superlek built an impressive record in the Thai Muay Thai scene and was named Fighter of the Year by the Sports Authority of Thailand in 2012. In 2019, he joined ONE Championship.

In January 2023, he won the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship. In September 2024, he also won the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai title against Jonathan Haggerty. After weight issues, he lost that title in 2025 but retained his kickboxing title.

Superlek earns his nickname with one of the most versatile kicking attacks in the sport: low, bone-crushing leg kicks, spinning haymakers and sharp knees, all built on a classic Muay Thai foundation. He maintains an extremely high output throughout full fights, switches effortlessly between boxing, kickboxing and clinch work, and combines that with an iron chin and tactical patience.

2026: Remains ONE Flyweight Kickboxing champion and is preparing for a title defense against Jonathan Di Bella on October 17 at ONE Samurai 4.
