Rodtang, born Tinnakorn Srisawat on July 23, 1997, in Pa Phayom, a poor region of Thailand’s Phatthalung province, began practicing Muay Thai at the age of seven. He fought his first professional bout at eight, purely to earn money for his family—a motivation that continued to define his entire career. At fourteen, he moved to Bangkok to dedicate himself fully to the sport at Jitmuangnon Gym, where he says he had won more than 250 bouts before turning twenty-one and captured the Omnoi Stadium title twice.
His breakthrough on the world stage came in August 2019, when he defeated Jonathan Haggerty to win the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship. What followed was one of the longest and most dominant title reigns in ONE history: five successful defenses, the record for the longest winning streak at 14 bouts, and the most decision wins in the organization, with 12. His explosive, relentless fighting style and viral highlights made him a global fan favorite, far beyond the circle of combat sports enthusiasts.
In November 2024, however, his reign came to an abrupt halt: Rodtang was stripped of his title after failing to make weight for a scheduled title defense. Shortly afterward, a simmering disagreement with ONE Championship escalated into a legal dispute. Rodtang claimed that his contract had expired, after which ONE filed lawsuits in Thailand, Japan, and Singapore in 2025–2026 over alleged breach of contract. During the dispute, he remained active: he defeated Jacob Smith and Denis Purić, won his first meeting with Takeru Segawa by knockout at ONE 172 in March 2025, and even signed a temporary contract as a professional footballer with Thai League 3 team Phichit United.
After months of negotiations, a breakthrough came on July 23, 2026—coincidentally his birthday: at a press conference at Jitmuangnon Gym, Rodtang signed a new exclusive contract with ONE Championship and publicly reconciled with the organization and its founder, Chatri Sityodtong. Shortly before that, on April 29, 2026, at ONE SAMURAI 1, he had entered a rematch with Takeru Segawa as a free agent, competing for the vacant interim flyweight kickboxing title, but this time Takeru defeated him by TKO in the fifth round.
As of September 2026, Rodtang therefore holds no title. He is back with ONE as a free-agent, unranked elite fighter who has set his sights on reclaiming a title that, in his own words, he “never truly lost.” No specific new fight had been announced as of the cutoff date. He trains at Jitmuangnon Gym in Bangkok, was previously affiliated with Looksaikongdin Gym and Fairtex, and is sponsored by YOKKAO; he is also an ambassador for Amar Amran and Eminers.
