History

Founded in 1904. The founding of Brydeklubben Thor is an early chapter in Randers' history of organized martial arts. The club existed before karate, taekwondo, and MMA broadened the range of offerings in the city.

A distinct wrestling tradition. BK Thor represents a discipline of its own alongside Randers' modern MMA and grappling clubs. Greco-Roman wrestling gives the club a clear sporting profile within that broader history.
