Otto Knudsen

A club founded on Adamsgade. Knudsen founded FightGym Odense in 2002. The first training period began on a small scale; the club subsequently developed into the broader training environment of Fighter Center Odense. His role as owner and trainer brings the day-to-day coaching and management of the venue together.

In the MMA cage himself. On May 14, 2011, Knudsen fought Maurice van Waeyenberghe at FG 21 - Once Again. He won by TKO via a head kick and punches after 3 minutes and 32 seconds of the first round. Sherdog lists him for this bout as a middleweight, with Fightgym.dk as his training affiliation.

Pedagogical work alongside martial arts. Outside the training floor, Knudsen worked with young people with behavioral problems, including as part of Egely's acute intervention team. This professional background represents a different aspect of his career from coaching athletes or organizing competitions.

The organization behind MMA Galla. As director, co-owner, and promoter, Knudsen is involved with MMA Galla. His work therefore encompasses not only club life in Odense, but also organizing a platform where professional MMA fighters compete.

International exchange in Odense. International seminars are part of his organizational work around the club. Bringing guest instructors to Odense connects the local training environment with knowledge and experience from beyond Funen.
