Intro

Aspire Dome is a large indoor sports complex in Aspire Zone in Al Rayyan, in the Doha metropolitan area. At its opening, it was presented as the world’s largest indoor sports dome and can accommodate approximately 15,500 spectators.

History

Aspire Dome opened in 2005 and was one of the main venues for the 2006 Asian Games. It later hosted, among other events, the 2010 World Indoor Athletics Championships, the 2018 World Gymnastics Championships, and the 2024 World Aquatics Championships, and games from the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be played there. As part of the extended partnership between ONE Championship and Visit Qatar, a ONE event is scheduled to take place at Aspire Dome on March 26, 2027, following the earlier Qatari editions ONE 166 (2024) and ONE 171 (2025).
