Boxing Club A. Olympia has been boxing in the center of Odense since 1918 and is affiliated with the Danish Boxing Union. The club focuses entirely on boxing, from the first lesson to the competition ring.

Training is divided into different groups, so you can find the right one whether you're just starting out, boxing solely for fitness, or preparing for competitions.

Atmosphere and culture

The Boxing class is the introductory group for everyone aged 10 and over and focuses on fitness, strength, running drills, technique, bag training, and sparring. Anyone ready for competitions is moved on by the coaching team to the Competition team, which trains timing, precision, and competing on behalf of A. Olympia. There is also Fitness BOXING: boxing training without sparring or competitions, focused on fitness.

History

A. Olympia was founded on July 5, 1918 as Atletklubben Olympia, an association for wrestling, weightlifting, and boxing. After the wrestlers and weightlifters started their own club, Olympia continued as a boxing-only club.
