The story

From competitive fighter to coach. Mathiasen achieved an amateur record of 8-2 and remained undefeated in his professional MMA career with a record of 5-0. He won MMA Galla's first featherweight title. He puts that competitive experience to use in his role as a coach, training other fighters.

A dual role at Esbjerg Fightcenter. As chairman, Mathiasen is involved in managing the members' association. As head coach, he guides the MMA and competition team. The club at Storegade 225 B combines MMA with Muay Thai, K-1, and no-gi grappling and has an MMA cage for combined training.
