Kamara grew up in Le Havre, where he made a name for himself in French savate boxing alongside his twin brother Alfousseynou Kamara, who was also active at Emergence Le Havre under coach Madjid Nassah, winning three French titles in the discipline. At K-1 WORLD MAX 2025, he stepped in as a late replacement for a quarterfinal spot in the -70 kg tournament against Darryl Verdonk. On April 11, 2026, he made his official full K-1 debut at K-1 GENKI 2026 against experienced former Krush Super Lightweight Champion Daizo Sasaki; Kamara won convincingly by TKO in the first round.
