The story

Ishida rose through K-1 Koshien and Krush to reach the K-1 main stage. His southpaw style, sense of distance, and finishing power made him one of Japan’s most promising young featherweights.

After winning the title against Kosei Sekiguchi, he will make his first title defense at K-1 WORLD MAX 2026. His opponent, Rui Okubo, celebrates his birthday on the very day of the fight.
