Zack Pankhurst, nicknamed “Blackie Chan”, is an Australian kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter who qualified for the Final 16 of the K-1 WORLD MAX tournament in the up-to-70 kg weight class.

Pankhurst is from Brisbane and trains at Taylormade Muay Thai. He built a record of 14 wins from 15 bouts and won the WBC Muaythai Queensland State Super Welterweight title.

In 2026, he won the Australian K-1 WORLD MAX qualifying tournament in Melbourne. In the semifinal, he defeated Conor Rock by TKO, and in the final, he also defeated Preston Te Moni by TKO. During the tournament, he weighed 1.2 kg above the contractual limit, which led to a points deduction. Nevertheless, he continued to win convincingly. This earned him a place in the Final 16 in Tokyo, where he will face PK Saenchai.
