Hamza Uddin

Uddin was born in Walsall on 16 July 2003 and grew up there. According to available sources, he won eight national amateur titles, three GB titles and seven international gold medals. In 2022 and 2023, he won the England Boxing National Elite Championship in the flyweight division. According to those sources, this made him the youngest two-time winner of the tournament at the age of nineteen. Sources conflict regarding his Olympic status. His own website states that he represented Team GB at the 2024 Paris Olympics, while a Matchroom community article says that at the end of 2023 he chose a professional contract instead of pursuing an Olympic pathway. This discrepancy could not be resolved using the available sources. Uddin signed with Matchroom Boxing at the end of 2023 and made his professional debut in Liverpool on 27 April 2024, defeating Santiago San Eusebio. On 11 October 2025, he defeated Paul Roberts in Sheffield and won the English and WBA International flyweight titles. According to NY Fights, he is trained by his father, Siraj. Matchroom also reported a connection with Fearless Boxing Academy in Walsall.
