Kay Prospere, nicknamed “Special K”, is a British professional super-lightweight boxing champion from Luton. He started boxing relatively late but nevertheless reached European title level.

The story

Prospere began amateur boxing around the age of 22 after previously playing football and working as a youth coach. He made his professional debut in 2016 and that year recorded a knockout victory over Lee Connelly at the O2 Arena in London. He later challenged Rakeem Noble for the BBBofC Southern Area super-lightweight title. On 23 April 2021, he boxed Sandor Martin in Barcelona for the EBU European title in the same weight class. Alongside his sporting career, Prospere worked as a qualified electrician and earned a master's degree in sports. He also dedicated himself to boxing education for young people.
